Waterfox是一款基於Mozilla Firefox開發的第三方開放原始碼網頁瀏覽器，適用於64位元Microsoft Windows、macOS和Linux作業系統。由於Mozilla官方一度沒有提供正式的Firefox 64位元版本，Waterfox當年被作為一種替代方案[1]。截至2017年2月，Waterfox的下载量已超過600萬，跨越180个国家[2]。其默认的搜索引擎为Ecosia[3]。


它使用多种编译器编译，并使用Intel的Math Kernel Library、Streaming SIMD Extensions 3和Advanced Vector Extensions。Linux版本采用Clang构建[4]。它兼容大多数Firefox附加组件和64位NPAPI浏览器插件[5]。Waterfox包含旨在利用64位系统架构的修改，并提高了Mozilla旗舰浏览器的速度。Waterfox还删除了Adobe DRM、Pocket功能以及Firefox的数据收集组件，并称与Windows XP 64位版本兼容。Waterfox继续支援Firefox 57起移除的XUL和XPCOM附加元件[6][7][8][9]。
