Smart invert for the ipad inverts the colors of everything except images. This increases battery life. It works great except for latex math equations at wikipedia which wikipedia converts to png images which are transparent with black text. Smart invert renders it unreadable (black text on black background is unreadable). The solution of course is to add a background color.
span.mwe-math-element > img.mwe-math-fallback-image-inline
background-color: #FFFF00 !important;
The code above works fine in everything except safari (the ipad browser) where it has no effect.
Here is a page with latex: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Planck_mass
Regular invert inverts the colors of everything including images and it works. I can read the latex fine. But then all images are inverted to. Even my camera produces inverted images. Thats why I need Smart invert. But then latex is unreadable.
Latex at Wikia is not rendered as images and I can read it with Smart invert fine. But wikipedia renders latex as images so I need some way to add a background color to the images.
